75% of our area now has power pg 204

Adult protective services is sending out nurses to sick people like my sister in law without lights . They still don't have any lights power is still off for them and they are running out of money we need some place that gives away meals to go for seinor citizens on fixed incomes without lights . My sister in law has flash lights to keep her company while my brother works .

I am not back up to par from my accident I just don't feel real good even with the antibodics we will have to do my brothers wash again. At least today he got some rest.

Kroger gave away a 1/2 a semi of non pershiable foods to the food bank to help out people but this won't help my brother him and he's wife get a lot of meals on wheels but if your refrigerator doesn't work and you have no electricity they cannot sdeliver them . These meals are being stored for people to get when the power comes back on but that does them no good today.

People are bring food to fire stations whole grocery isles are filled up with water because people with wells who don't have power don't have water either .

Water  is being filled for residence from fire stations with gallon jugs taken they can get water to drink only during certain times water to bath during different hours .

 It is like we have gone back in some areas of town to another century . I wish I could do more for my brother and sister in law my brother said he would get the clothes together so we can stop by their house and get them again we will try to get them back some time tomorrow.

Eaton a small town close by is running their traffic lights off of generators they are telling them it might be october before they get back up and running .I have not thrown out food yet but I am trying to cook up everything I have in my refrigerator . The potaoes are becoming soft . I did buy some groceries today but I want my freezer empty before I buy new groceries . I needed to cook cabbage or it would spoil so I made cooked cabbage with potatoes and carrots .
