Ballroom dancing improves over all health . People who dance have fewer bypass surgeries . They have less trouble moving around then other people their age .
They tend to be thinner then other people their age . Their family memebers who are younger seem to have more medical problems then they do .
Dancing Improves balance
Alot of old people fall because they lose their sense of balance dancers always are working to mailtain their balance .
The more you move the more you can move as you get older as they always say the more you move the more you can move . Laying around and sitting around causes muscles to go to waste . Move it or lose it is a statement I see everywhere today .

Jo Ann Hoyer teaches basic class and has taught it for years . Doug Shafer teaches Bronze one class . Doug is a former president of Dayton Ballroom Dance Club and he's wife and him own their own dance studio.
