Mcdonalds Restraunts charitable programs pg 212

They work down people and take people off other shifts and put them on your shift a lot because of this . It is a great place to work because they will usually work you into there scedule when you want to work if you are older and don't want to work weekends you won't as a general rule but once in a while they will call you in for a weekend.

They have this program were seinor citizens get discounts on meals and the same seinors come every day of the year to see their friends there this is their social life .

They give out scholarships to young people wanting to take courses . If yopu work at Mc Donalds and you are college age they may help you go  to college.

They had profit sharing for employees who had been their more then a year in company stores I hadn't worked their a year so I didn't get it when our store was sold but I knew people who did get it .

That is how our owner brought he's store he had worked for McDonalds for 20 years so he used he's money to buy he's own store working their changed he's life and the lives of he's children for the better he owned more then one store when I quit because of back problems.

Mc Donalds owns houses near childrens hospitals were parents can stay for free to be near their child when they are sick in the hospital or having surgery .

I know Mc Donalds does more then this I just cannot think of anything else right this second that they do . I know they use to give away hamburgers for children for so many books read for the summer reading program at the libary when my kids were young they took advantage oif this more then once.
