While being a den mother at Boy scouts I was lucky enough to have a young man in my troup who had a big brother . This child was being raised by just he's grandmother . The love given to this young man lite up he's life . He never knew he's father and having a big brother made him feel more like the other kids I myself grew up without grandparents they had died before I was born . But God gave me God Given Grandparents who where as good if not better then my real grandparents would have been . When I think back to my days as a den mother I never dreamed I would write International Book Of Love A Dolls Like Us Book By Sharon Wortman.

Another International Flag Of love Winner

This is another family which has earned International Flag Of love because of their work with American Legion and disabled vets Julie Nash along with her mom Yvonne Mayer and her husband Berne Mayer have given 3 years going shopping at Sams club and buying soda and snacks for the 9th floor hospice level of the V.A. center in Dayton International Flag of Love winner Yvonne Mayer has also helped by being a nurses aid for 8 years . The International Flag Of Love honors special people like this who pass large sums of love down through the generations with no real finicial gain for themselves . The International Flag Of love believes that Love is the strongest force on Earth . Helen Riehle is another flag of love winner Helen well be 96 years ols on June 25,2007 .If you want to send her a birthday card her address is 03439 state route 49 edgerton ohio 43517 Helen husband died young so Helen raised 3 children with the help of her inlaws by herself.

Helen has been a Pythian sister for over 70 years

Helen also has belonged to the Eastern Star for over 70 years .

Helen is a retired school teacher who taught primary school . Helen belongs to the retired teachers womens society and is a greeter at her church.

Helen raised sheep on her sons farm for years for a hobby after she retired and makes wonderful cookies . Helen volenteers at Sauder Village and at a local hospital in Edgerton Ohio.

Sandie Blocher and Evelyn Mitchell use to do puppet shows for seinors at nursing homes and young people to try to get them interested in God the good people do lives long after they die doing good deeds has given these people the international Flag of love . Evelyn found God later and life and became a born again person and she spent time in her life her and Sandie trying to bring others to Christ .Sandie also brought presents at christmas time for kids who won't have gotten any other wise.
