Always their always helping

The Red Cross is their at time of war and at time of natural disaster . To help treat victims I have a good friend who was at ground 0 helping the workers he is a psycologist  who is retired .

We need more volunteers

The Red Cross runs lots of programs in every community and needs volunteer workers . I remember taking swimming lessons through the red cross as a child . It is easier to teach people how to swim then it is to rescue them once they are drowning .

Room mothers

Are people who help assist teachers with parties and field trips . No teacher can handle that many kids on a field trip alone .

The good the home room mother does will live years after they die.
I also was lucky enough to take a program in campfire which taught basic cooking skills . This is something we all can use the redcross women came in every week and cooked a different dish for us while we watched and we got to keep the recipes . The good this person did I am sure out lived her the good people do is passed down through the generations .

Tutors for Children

Are people who can make a good difference in a childs life . They spend hours and hours teaching kids they can . They give out smiles and bring a feeling of accomplishment to children .
Red Cross workers work for others usually for free in a natural disaster they help coordinate relief efforts . Help to feed the masses council people about what happened and how they did the best they could in a very difficult situation these are examples of people who really care about people why not bake some cookies and take themn down to your local Red Cross to give to the workers ..
Some tutors get paid others don't it isn't always about money it is about giving back a part of your self to other people who need it .Years after you die your students will think of you with fond memories because the good people do lives after them .
