Continuing storm damage reports pg 203

Is still without power my brother said two generators went down close to him . He has to leave he's wife to go to work batteries are very expensive she is in a wheel chair . We were buy last night to deliver the clothes we had washed for them . Johnny who works two jobs and has a pace maker and a defibulator will have to be up for 23 hours before he gets to sleep again.

 Hopefully the power will be on again soon in he's neighborhood he's wife told us she was getting tired of restraunt food but they had thrown away everything that was in their refrigerator.

It has stayed warm and has been pleasant sleeping weather without having to run a airconditioner today.

It is not warm enough at night to need heat either some areas will be without power they think for several months .

You see tree branches everywhere curbs have tree branches in them all over the neighborhood . Their are convict working in montgomery county taking trees off of peoples trucks .Thank you for people will enough to do this God .

This si not a recommended thing to do . Eye doctors are seeing people with posion ivy in their eyes because of tree burning .

 If you try to remove tree parts and don't know what you are doing you can get cut using a power saw . Doctors are treating people who have cut themselves with power saws .

We have gotten alot of help from other states because of our crisis. Portble generators are being brought for 200 dollars by those who can afford them .

Grocery stores and gas stations are only taking credit cards not debit cards .

I was worried when it forst happened that gas to run our cars would be in short supply but it seems to be plentiful. A few days ago their were long lines at the gas station .

Prices are going up but that is happening everywhere . I was able to find my old dogs soft dog food he has trouble chewing . A six pack of this ran $5.89 a 36 pack ran $13.96 Of course I brought the 10 pack for around $3.50 about a month ago when I purchased one last time.

 My dog gets some Purina seinior dog food to the price hadn't changed much on that.

First hand experience I went out my dead sisters house today and saw three trees down . Debree all over the place .

The trees were rotten and just feel down With the high winds fom Ike . Today was the first time I had had time to go there I have been busy with my life and my doctors appointments from falling into a tree while hiking over a week ago I was on a hill convinced I could make it down when It was worrying my husband I said watch me I let go of one tree and ran head long into the next tree within seconds with my head so I have been icing my head a lot thank God for the Blue things they stayed frozen in my freezer with no power and I think they helped to keep my food fresh .
